 50 YEARS OF Z DESK

Ph. Archivio Gabriella Crespi

Amongst Crespi’s creations there are some special pieces of furniture and objects that do not belong to any of the various thematic areas explored by the artist-designer, the so-called ‘Unicum’.
The Z Desk takes its name from the uprights that support the top with slide-away drawers, in the shape of the last letter of the alphabet.
Generally covered with brass or stainless steel foil, the Z Desk was presented in 1974 in different versions and different sizes, and was produced in the XXth Century untill 1985.
